handmade candy wrappers

Transforming candy into something pretty and creative for Valentines Day is as simple as making handmade wrappers. With just a little paint, paper and your favorite mixed media techniques, candy can be transformed into something special. I thought it would be fun to create colorful candy wrappers full of paint, doodles, drips and messy elements!

Love this! Did you paint the paper black - or buy it that way? Also - is that a white chalk marker?

I totally want to try this...thank so much for the inspiration!

Very cute idea to make something simple into a lovely gift. Would be nice to do for friends or coworkers on holidays too.
